Skills and experience
Since 1986, we have repaired and maintained properties and buildings across multiple sectors. Our experts offer a wide range of services including responsive repairs and major refurbishments, putting residents and occupants at the heart of our work.
A safe pair of hands
Axis was founded in 1986 by two brothers who started out together as apprentice bricklayers. They built the company up to be a highly profitable national success with multi-million turnover and over 1,000 employees. But at the heart of the business, our values have always shaped the way we work, whether that’s with our clients, our employees or the communities we serve. We are known in the business as a safe pair of hands.
Flexible and Forward Thinking
Our clients like us for our expertise, adaptability and proactive mindset. We are constantly seeking and embracing new ways and new technologies to improve our skills and the services we offer. We will transfer skill-sets or services – for example, cladding in social housing – into another service, like NHS facilities, improving the safety of all residents and occupants. A Planned Maintenance Programme, can easily incorporate our Responsive Repairs service, should our client so wish.
We work to suit our clients
We work closely with our clients and their own timetables, adjusting our own to suit theirs. A busy hotel cannot have too many rooms undergoing refurbishment at the same time – so we will stage our works. A social housing landlord must have a demonstrably fast voids turnaround, and our schedules recognise this urgency. Our projects for the MOD take into account the fact that service families move regularly and need high standards of accommodation.
